Thai Massage

Winnie demonstrates the standing arm stretch.

Thai Massage has a long and venerable history as a therapeutic manipulation based on energy fields in the body.

By rhythmically working along primary energy lines, a skilled therapist can maintain or restore well-being. Traditional Thai massage has been taught and practiced in Thailand for more than 2,500 years and has achieved great popularity in the West in recent years.

Instructor Winnie Cain, one of the first instructors of Thai massage in the United States, has been a licensed massage therapist for over 20 years. She has studied extensively in America and in Thailand. Today she shares her knowledge and skill with students and clients in both countries.

Thai Massage is probably the newest form of healing work practiced in this country, yet it is one of the oldest forms of developed medicine. It is very rhythmic and meditative, enabling both the client and the practitioner to reach a deeper level of consciousness.
